Heat Pump Adoption and Home Electrification: A Customer-First, Data-Driven Approach

Currently, the U.S. has set a goal of lowering greenhouse gas emissions by 50%-52% below 2005 levels by 2030, and while most of the electrification conversation is focused on the cresting EV wave, buildings account for roughly 29% of total U.S. emissions.

Meeting this target will require rapidly converting as many fossil fuel-powered activities to electricity as possible, and then generating that electricity from low-carbon and carbon-free sources such as wind, solar, hydropower and nuclear energy.

The one thing we have found in common among utilities we talk to is the prioritization of customer engagement as a key lever in achieving electrification.

In this brief overview video, Bidgely’s Brian Cronin explains how Bidgely’s patented disaggregation technology can underpin utility’s carbon reduction mandates and Beneficial Electrification plans by delivering hyper-personalized customer engagement to drive the adoption of newer technologies to assist their customers reduce their carbon footprint.
